The GCC Cutting Strip is a replacement consumable designed for use with compatible GCC vinyl cutting plotters. Positioned beneath the cutting path, the strip provides a smooth, even surface for the blade to cut against while supporting the media during operation.
Over time, repeated blade contact can cause grooves, cuts and uneven areas to develop in the strip. A worn cutting strip can contribute to inconsistent cutting depth, incomplete cuts or unwanted marks on the media. Replacing it when necessary helps maintain reliable cutting performance and protects the blade from contacting harder machine surfaces.
